The Company was formed in early 2007 and is based near the City of York, on the outskirts of the picturesque Wolds village of Thixendale. With professional experience in the farming and construction industries, the original aim of the Company’s Directors, Adam Palmer, Ben Palmer and Paul Scothern, was to support the production of environmentally friendly fuels. However, their research into the processes involved revealed wider opportunities for the production and use of Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil.
Breckenholme Trading Company Limited currently produces Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil for use within the food manufacturing, processing and edible oil industry and also a high quality Rapeseed Oil, that is the perfect base for people wanting to make bio-diesel.
